I can attest a 150/150 is a good performer.
Please build your airstrip as long as possible for safety margin. Not that the 150/50 can't handle 1650' but the longer it will be, the safer it is when x-wind or hot day.

Hi Frederic. The runway saga began its extension process yesterday morning. Then this morning I got another unexpected bid and it looks like in the end it's going to be a 2000' x 25' runway with a 450' overrun.

Now though this extension expense means that depending on which model airplane I decide to buy, it might have to wait a little longer however if I find a great deal then we'll have to do whatever we need to do to take advantage of it.

I haven't made these decisions on a whim, thanks to all who have put in their $0.02 because their suggestions have helped me immensely.
