As I told you by email on the 14th of November, you never paid me for a floorboard and I don't owe you a floorboard. I also told you that I had other family priorities right now. Your reply on the 11th of December, nearly a month later and where you grossly misremembered the purchase price in your favor, went unanswered, as did your email on the 16th of December. Again, I've had other priorities that superseded drilling out a floorboard and bringing it to Oklahoma for you. Today, in fact, is the first time I've been able to think about "Cessna" in months.

Harassing me on a public forum isn't going to bump you up on my priority list.

See what shenanigans go on while I am away? The "Honey, I shrunk the (future) kids" comment made me laugh. I remember reading a long time ago that your flying getup should be what you're willing to wear while running away from a crash. Tennis Shoes or Cowboy Boots would suffice. However, a strategically placed backpack might prove to be prudent.

I have the right side, but it's a hard panel with no shock mounts and is one piece.

KT 76A transponder with 8130-3 for sale, bought from skyman avionics and decided to go a different way. $500

I have to assume this was either the work of a sadist in either design or assembly phase back in the day.

There is no obvious design advantage of putting that spring attach point INSIDE of that aluminum frame, attached with TEN AN-3 bolts in an awkward to reach space.

Also most of the posts about "broken spring" are on the left side.. so I would posit that the twist to get the spring to the inside of the frame puts more adverse load on it than the normal person design found on the right (co-pilot) side leading to premature failure.

Which of course begs the question of why not have the A&P change the tab to the left OUTSIDE of the frame so it matches the right side... There are no movement conflicts that can be seen.

The G model is the first one with the bowed out cabin, so that's not the reason for the difference in part numbers between our models. Maybe my mechanic or the one on my field might know what the difference is between the G seats and ones for later models.
