Yes, the problem is this:
I do something on my plane or fly it in a certain way, and someone else has a mechanic that says he can't do that work on his plane, or the FBO won't rent to a fellow who wants to do what I'm doing.
So he feels "disenfranchised." He insists that if he can't do it, then I should not be allowed to do it either.
Have you heard of the old saying "dog in the manager." A dog doesn't eat hay, but out of spite he will keep the cows from coming to the manger to eat hay simply because he can't.
So watch out for a dog in the manger attitude.
