Some good ideas, Kirk. But first, wouldn't you would require the approval of the original owner's of the STC to change their STC?????

Plus, plugging that big hole in the side of the airplane may be another problem??

How about filling it internally,(No having to cut out an access hole in the side of the fuselage.). Using a sealed gas cap and added vent line? Have the tank and pump mounted on a sheet which is then attached to the floor of the baggage compartment, just like you describe? Removing and installing as one unit. How about that??
