I am sticking with the original design and parts.
Good thinking - the round ‘hockey-puck’ style doesn’t fit. On my Cardinal someone before had to trim aluminum from the top of the vertical stab and force the plastic stab tip over the round mount to get it to “fit”. On a 150/152 with a thinner vertical stabilizer, the problems would be worse.
I hate it when people go out of their way to do something the wrong way.
