Welcome, James! Just bought my 150M back in June of '16. I just got my PPL in January last year, and like Victor, I couldn't see paying $130/hr for a 4-seat Skyhawk when almost all of my flying will be solo, so I started looking. Found a 150 about an hour flight time away. She needed some work, and as a result I have only put 12 hours on her due to some engine repairs, but I will be flying her a LOT more this year, I guarantee it. Plus I got everything needed in the purchase to make her basic IFR, will be doing that in the next year or so after I build some time & confidence (and of course, save up the money for the labor).

I'm registered for Clinton as well, will be my first trip to the Confab. Hope to see you there!
