Victor, wow, 230 hours in 7 months, sounds like you're having a blast! I think living in Louisiana having a basic IFR panel will be necessary. Unlike flying in southern California where just about every day is VFR after 11AM, and Phoenix where its VFR approximately 360 days a year, here in Louisiana, I'd be grounded half the time without basic IFR airplane.
True! The good thing is that there is a fairly big market for C150/152s. Check controller and ASO. I found mine through controller.
