make sure you get written proof of sale. I'm sure with the purchase of an aircraft there haste be some way to trace it but I always write my own bill of sale from now on to avoid problems.


This shows the back of an aircraft registration card. When there's a change in registration (sale, destroyed, owner died, etc), the owner/estate representative fills it out, signs it, and mail to the FAA to record the change.
