IMHO , it's the "WELL OF WISDOM" in most clubs that feel , and enjoy the atmosphere enough that they do weave in and out of the subject matter . Me personaly , "I LIKE IT"!
The 15 or 20 that you speak of are probably the same ones that always respond to the tech ouestions with very valuable advice .
My observation is that the subject matter is usually answered in the 1rst few posts and then nobody gets any smarter !
This is my 1rst time on an on line forum (resisted the climb) But I have been in many other "clubs" , And remember thats what this is , a club! In the "Internationl Aerobatic CLub" your more experenced people are the heart & soul of the active membership that keeps it alive .
The reason that they continue to compete and share knowlege is because they enjoy it , take the fun out of it and the "well of wisdom" will find somewhere else to "Be a Blessing" !!
Besides as I recall , ain't nobady gettin payed to do this !!
