Perhaps "professionalism" is a term we might want to investigate.
I apologize, Paul, but I am going to take your post yet on another tangent.
Professionalism? I need to be professional all day where I am employed. Flying our 150 is my hobby. Not my profession. I fly to get away from the rest of "that" world. As with coming here. I come here to be among others who also like to fly as a hobby. This is like an extended family for me. Yes, this is a Forum of great knowledge and experience. Is there really any reason we need to regiment it? Is keeping it some what loose and care free really all that bad?
If my hobby ever becomes like my profession, then I am afraid it is time to stop flying. Please do not make this place too professional?
