If I were doing over, I would put in a two place intercom and two NAV/COMM radios. Most of the ILS's around here have decommissioned the marker beacons, so it might not be worth installing those. Our 150 has marker beacons, but they haven't flashed now in a couple of years. If you are going strictly VFR, one radio would be good enough, especially if it was one you could listen to two frequencies.

Even for IFR, I think something like the PAR200B (https://aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2021/june/pilot/pilot-products-ps-engineering-par200b) and maybe a Garmin 175 would work. If you went this route, you may also want to install an older NAV/COMM for ILS in emergencies.
