EAA should have Certified scales you can rent for a small donation to their Chapter. And it is a good idea to have your aircraft weighted every 10 or so years. Especially if you have been doing a lot of modifying.

BTW, I lost my scales in the flood 3 years ago and didn't spend the money to replace them.
