The adventure continues… Avionics shop pulled the panel today and found lots of misc old wires. Also found the radio was simply slid in and not secure (perhaps why commas were so bad). Yep and for that matter there are no locking devices on the radio or rack. Thoughts on these pics? Any ideas on how to secure the radio in the rack or should I look for another rack? Young tech seems to think the radio doesn’t have the locking mechanism. Thinking of making a lock tab to keep it in place. Any inputs or ideas are appreciated.
