I just did a quick Vref on the aircraft at www.aopa.org [aopa.org] in the member access part of the website. The Vref came back at 36770 although there was no place to put since new for the engine. I suspect that even with snew it won't add 13,000 to the value. Eight years ago, not long after the interior was finished and the last part of the plane done, I was offered 40,000 for my plane. I politely declined as I had a lot more into Woodstock than just money. And having finished putting all that blood sweat and tears (and money) into it I wanted to enjoy it and convert some of that money I didn't spend into gas and that gas into noise. I guess at some point there is someone out there who might pay that amount or close to it for that plane. If anyone is interested in Woodstock... well... I'll take a brand new Cessna 182 in trade. So long as the plane is painted yellow .
