As has already been said,his starting price is not out of line with what has been invested,(probably more)but its way out of line with what the market is.When I bought mine , the guy had started at 50K. But after a long time of no calls and tire kickers just trying to get an education on what a 150/150 is, He started moving on the price.
It seems all 150/150 TD's start at around 35K. High time low time does'nt seem to matter, that seems to be where the market winds up trading at. Now if the plane is "drop dead gorgeous" low time and IFR capable, then they seem to move up closer to 40K. And even then you usually have to have an educated buyer that is looking for a 150/150 specificaly. The plane needs to have all the important conv.s (L.R.tanks,horton stol,etc.)to bring that kind of $.
What I've described seems to be the rule,there are exceptions(Garys and Bills)but usually the rule "RULES".
The guys with these 150 conv.s are alot like the people who build expermentals,or build 250k houses in the projects, there worth evey dime you put into them!! as long as you don't try and sell it.
