I guess with these older planes, you never know when you will find a great deal. It could be with a 182 or a Bo, depending on what a seller is willing to take, and the luck you have being at the right place at the right time. I think you won't go wrong with either type.

Right place and right time are a lot of it. My suggestion to ANYONE looking for any kind of plane:

If you see something which looks like a candidate DO NOT WAIT TO CALL THE SELLER. Put some $ in their hands to hold it for a week or 10 days to go look at it yourself or have a friend who knows airplanes do it for you. BE READY TO MOVE QUICKLY. By that I mean with $ and set up to go check it out.

Decent aircraft are not sitting around for more than a few days. If you keep going back and watching adds and not deciding, odds are its already been snatched up by someone else. That was my experience with the Bo's.
