Past all that, keep us posted on your progress, though there are several of us here who will tell you to just buy a Bonanza.....airline pilots, math professors, teachers and trailer peddlers fly them so you'd be in good company.

I also considered the 182's and also 210's. I chose the speed and the handling...obviously!
Ive got a 63 P-35 and honestly it feels very roomy inside. Flown many 182s also and for me it seems the Bo gets the nod for passenger comfort except for the door thing. To me, the speed, handling qualities and overall workmanship on the Beechcraft easily swayed me. A lot depends on your mission to be sure so get what will work for you.
