That's a pretty good offer, and Bryan, you'd have a very detailed debrief of your new old airplane from a highly qualified C150L pilot when it arrived in Florida. And if it passes through California on the way to FL, I guarantee there will NOT be any sheep stickers on it when it gets there...... | | | | Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 7,354 Likes: 611 Member/5000+posts! | Member/5000+posts! I get there for free....you pay the gas and a small daily stipend for food. I do the rest Its what you would end up paying anyway if you did it yourself! +1 I am in the same boat (or plane as it were) as Jim.

Such a buzz about this one. I have requested more photos and information just to at least entertain the idea. It would have to be 100% on everything because I have looked at.... about 8-9 150's now and none of them measure up with a good combination price, condition, hours. Thanks for the support guys. What a family here. :-)

I've delivered planes over long distances, as well. I'm not throwing my name in the hat for delivery on this one, though...my situation is different now and I don't have the time.
But, let me say that being a "delivery pilot" is a ton of fun. Getting to see the country at 90 mph is a fantastic opportunity. I hope you have the chance to fly it home. Or, any of the above offers from our many Captain Fantastic's are the next best thing to doing it yourself.
Just don't fall in love with the plane before you actually get a chance to see it. Other than that, I'm happy for you!!!

If the stuff you get looks interesting, I would try to get a local club member to go look at it before you commit any money to a pre-buy inspection or anything.
I think the point most people are making here is that, even if this plane turns out not to be the one for you, don't limit yourself to only buying planes in your geographic area. There are many people in this club willing to help out on getting the right plane to you. | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 15,884 Likes: 990 Member/15,000 posts | Member/15,000 posts Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 15,884 Likes: 990 | The pictures look good, Bryan, but make sure to do your due diligence on any plane you are looking at.
