If only you were near FL. I'd probably buy it today!

Let me try closing my eyes and snapping my fingers.

Nope. Didn't work :-(

Good luck in selling her, Randy. It is obvious that you have taken very good care of her.

Which 4 seater are you going to? I hope you remain a part of this club.

For the right plane (and from the pictures and description Randy's has that potential), I would not let geography become the barrier as there is always a way to make it work.

I know a guy from Arkansas who bought a 150 in Alaska of all places.......at least I thought I knew him. smirk

Randy, let us know which 4 seater you end up with and I, too, hope you stay with us. whistle

I learned to fly in a 75' Grumman Traveler back in the early eighties. Will probably look for that model or a Cheetah or Tiger.

Don't let that stop you.

I know a guy that bought a 150 in Redmound, OR. and flew it home to Nashua, NH.
Read "The ultimate cross country" on the Club's home page to find out more.

Sure, it might cost you an airline ticket to get someone home but I am
sure you could find a volunteer to fly it to Florida if you can't.

I bought my plane in Wisconsin and flew it to Georgia, the 1st cross country flight I'd flown in more than 16yrs, using VOR nav, pilotage and looking out the window. It was a great way to learn my airplane.

And then there are guys like me who have the time to go pick up the plane and fly it back for ya when you dont.

I get there for free....you pay the gas and a small daily stipend for food. I do the rest wink Its what you would end up paying anyway if you did it yourself!
