My & Lexie's C-150 is a 1959, and it is a great airplane. It has the highest ceiling and airspeed of any of the other models. Last Monday Lexie and I made a mountain flight from Boulder, CO to Westcliffe, Co. With Lexie, me, my 10# dog Fury (that has to go everywhere) and all my luggage, went down at 11,500', about 10 miles west of Pikes Peak (14,000+) and east of the Sangre Cristos (14,000+) Lexie dropped me off, topped off the tanks and then back to Boulder. A great flight both ways. Last year Lexie and I flew from Boulder, CO to the Outer Banks of NC, First Flight airport, and back. Wonderful flight. We use it as a long cross country airplane as well as a lot of fun local flying.
