Rob,, as well, don't forget the lowly GST, On the plus side, it can all be done without a broker. After buying mine, and clearing customs at Vancover BC, the customs officer wanted to meet the broker,, I told him that I didn't have one, nor did I need one. I told him it was just another way of people having their hands in my pocket. He dthen tried giving me a line about how was I going to pay,, Gave him my Visa,, he then indicated he'd have to figure out how much duty I'd have to pay,, at that point I told him to go read his regulations, as there was no duty applicable, just PST and GST. I even told him how much,, minus what I could bring across because I'd been in the US for 7 days. He then disappeared for about an hour, then he returned and said my Visa card wouldn't work,, I told him B.S., let me see it,, he gave it to me and would you beleive they'd wrecked my card,, boy was I pissed, that's why it didn't work, They were morons and tried running my card through those old machines and bent it,, Fortunately, I had a second one, so I pulled it out and before giving it to him I asked him If he'd like me to go in and do it for him,, 5 minutes later,, everything was paid up and I got out of there. These guys that I ran into were morons, I don't think they were even native to Canada as they had problems speaking english. hopefully if you buy from the US you'll have better results. I could tell you more about it,, but it gets fairly long,, If you ever do get an airplane from the US and need to help, PM me and I'll indicate some of the things I had to do. Would I do it again,, yes definately, got exactly what I wanted,, would I imort into Vancouver again, no, I'd probably import into Calgary.
