Mark good luck with selling your plane. I met you at Alvord Desert a few years back. Thank you for being my inspiration to to keep my DME in my panel. After you and I talked out there my avionics shop wanted to convince me that I didn't need it any more because we were installing a WASS GPS. So back and forth the conversation went and I finally just said " we are keeping it because I like it " and still fly a DME arc way more accurately than I can with the GPS. Every time I fly that DME arc with the KN 64 I think "thanks mark"
I'm getting my IFR rating flying done in my plan with my instructor and safety pilot and they are both of our same opinion.
