Well update on the progress. There is none per se. My AI completed the inspection this month, added new tires, battery, nose wheel bearing. Tried to start it to see what worked inside the panel or didn't. Left mag was dead, he had to continue to adjust the right, almost but never did have success to get it to start. A new or re-built set of mags would be needed of course. mad

SO..... I am not planing on spending any more fresh money on something I will probably have to sell at a steep discount. Fresh money will go to buying a 4-place 180hp+ airplane that will satisfy my new mission of flying 330nm about every two to three weeks with two pax. Looking at a 172K with Penn Yan 180 conversion near here. Or even an early Beech 35 like I used to fly eons ago. Once that is done, I will access the situation and go from there. Somebody here with an A&P or AI under their belt might get a real "deal" in the future.
