... it's just a revenue generating scheme for IL, but you can't get around it.
Which is why some owners register their planes in other states, such as Delaware!
But you have to form, and maintain a Delaware corporation, and in Georgia, you also have to make sure that the "Deleware airplane" is not located in the state on Jan 1st (the date of taxation in Georgia), and can prove it.
