This is very strange....
The aircraft s/n 15072187 clearly puts it in the 1971 "L" block production
However....
the 1971L model had tube gear, the new fiberglass caps on the cowl as well as the extension on the propeller with the spacer (to fit the new nose caps), and the longer dorsal fin.
It should not have the metal cowl, or the landing light in the wing, or the spring gear.....
Another "new" with the "L" was the molded headliner in the cabin.....
Maybe it's a "Johnny Cash Cadillac"...?
