Paul,
Just out of curiosity, I called John Shaner about 2 months ago...just fishing and testing the water. I asked him if he'd ever consider selling it and if so, I'd like to be the first one at the top of the list.(This is not usually recommended

) He replied that, "He had given it some thought in the past and yes, he would sell it for 36k." He proceeded to tell me how nice it was and that he'd invested over 42k in it. He then got
very long winded and finally gave me his mechanics number and informed me I needed to call him about the particulars on it.
Well, you knew I'd call him too, didn't ya? I did, and the mechanic poked a little fun at him by saying he probably had 50k in it!!! He said, in his opinion, it was probably the most expensive, and most perfect 150 in the world!

The conversation went on and he said Bob was
extremely particular about his plane. Said it took him 2 hours to put it to bed each time he flew it because he wouldn't go home until it was
spotless, and I mean
every bug was off of it.
Just a touch outta my budget.
Just goes to show ya, you may not have to look very far because, sometimes, it's right there in your own backyard. Now, if I could get my grass cut low enough, maybe I could find it in mine!!
