FAR 23.851 Fire extinguishers.
(a) There must be at least one hand fire extinguisher for use in the pilot compartment that is located within easy access of the pilot while seated.
Sorry I missed this post earlier. As Nathan has already stated, Part 23 does not apply here. If you want one, get it, otherwise there is no requirement for you to have it.
