This makes me think of the planes that I have seen languishing in the weeds for year after year with out even a glance from the owner. With this one being inside all that time I thought it would have avoided many of those ravages of time, but I see it has fallen prey to most of them. Saturday I'll find out it's fate and let you know. It may be that evening before I'm back to a computer.

Maybe it's fitting, but it's sale will take place in a livestock auction barn. Yea really! They are selling the guy's land which includes the private airstrip this was kept on. As far as I know he doesn't need the money. This was a well to do manufacturing family with an on going farm equipment business. Hence the agricultural connections.
