An update, I ran up there quickly today to take a peek.
It sat for 23 years!!!! last flew in 1988
Bird nests were mostly removed from under the cowl, but remnants remain.
All over the place.
Inside the wings looks clean, very clean, but I only checked part of the right wing
not much in the panel, 1 navcom no trnsp
paint looks grungy but should clean up, always hangared.
exterior plastic looks good, very good
same owner since 1969, nice enough guy, tried to be helpful, didn't know a lot. Life changes were the reason he quit.
The 150 hp engine went in in 69 as part of the purchase deal as 0 time engine It now has about 750 hrs. An STC number was noted in the airframe log for the switch, but I don't know who's and now gross weight increase was noted in the W&B
Logs do exist, not much in them just annuals
They tried to start it without success.
