I was wondering where it went too - though when I last saw it, I am sure it didn't have floats

You're dead right there, it was built as a camera platform & flown from the back seat when filming was taking place. It's been designed so that the instrument panel can be moved from front to back fairly easily. My mate Bill Morgan bought it after seeing one at Oshkosh & deciding he really needed one & picked it up from Wedderburn then bought the amphibious floats & had them fitted.
