That same airplane used to be based here in Ohio...with the smile and missing tooth. I met the owner at the Mideastern Fly in in Marion Ohio, about five years ago. He was offering the plane for $8000.00. He had bought it in Texas a few years before. I can't think of any reason the price would almost double. It was airworthy when I saw it.
