Dawson is great to work with
Agreed. I've bought hard-to-locate parts from Dawson before. I like the way they photograph and catalogue their salvage parts, complete with part numbers. Much better than outfits like Wentworth, where you need to email or call them to find out if they have what you need.
I see a few seats at Dawson's from which I might be able to cannibalize the part I need. Dawson's selection of seats looks like a real possiblity. That way, I would not need to ship my broken seat back to Shelby's to be repaired and then have it sent back to me.
I definitly will have Shelby restore my seats some day, but for now, I may settle for a Dawson used seat back, even if it doesn't match color. I cover the seats with slip covers, anyway.
