I had the kit installed on my plane in May 2007. My mechanic charged me one hour of labor. I watched him work on it. Just drilled out the old stops and installed the new ones. No needs to remove the rudder.



This is the first time I have ever seen an actual picture of the new stop. I am looking at that gap behind that now larger bolt head. If those rudder horns are as flexible as Charles describes. and if they ever jumped into that slot behind the bolt........... That's scary!!!

Thanks Hung. I am now even less inclined to install the kit.
