Why did the Skipper fail to get bids while the 150M had 31 bids and sold?
One of the mysteries of Ebay is why some things sell and others won't.
One thing I've noticed is that something with a starting bid that is too close to a fair price for the item will not get any bids, while a like item with a starting bid that is low will attract bids and eventually sell for much more than the other item, with no bids.
I've bought a number of items be simply knowing what something was truely worth and bidding the starting bid or a little more. If something starts out really cheap, like the 99 cent beginning bids, I many times won't even bother with it, it will quickly go way above what its worth.
