OK, I thought I would start a new string. The bidding on both a 1976 150M and a Beech 77 Skipper has ended. The 150M started at $19,000 (with reserve), got 31 bids and sold for $29,500. The Skipper started at $33,900, no reserve, and got no bids at all.
The 150M has 2276TT, 396SMOH, has several mods including gap seals and vortex generators. Avionics is an MX300, Garmin GPS 90, II Morrow Loran 604, ARC300 Xponder. The Skipper is 1850TT and 350SFRM, has no mods, avionics is KLN89B, Dual KX155NavComms, KN64DME, KI209 Glideslope Head, KI208 Navhead, KMA 24 Panel, KT76A Xponder, PM1000 Intercom with digital recorder. Both in excellent condition with great paint and recent interiors.
Why did the Skipper fail to get bids while the 150M had 31 bids and sold?
