I soloed at 17 hours I think!

Oh, my dad and I were both frustrated with my first instructor! I almost ashamed to say I had that many hours! Instructor #1 whom I quit, had several of his students come to my Instructor #2. I tell you it was a mess and a pain for a while.

Now realize, part of the reason, I had so many hours, was that at that time I had no children and had a plane available to me anytime I wanted it! So, on the way home from work, the wife is at work or in Masters classes, so off I went! I think I visited every airport and strip within my area.
