Corey,

Hung and I are looking at August 18 or 19 for him to fly here for the corrosion inspection. You know Hung, he always packs his camera and he's got a trigger finger standing at the ready so there will be plenty of documentation.

We'll be comparing his plane to a 1979 152 in my hanger that is disassembled and full of corrosion. She's the corrosion queen of the 150/152 world and her nick name is Queenie.....go figure huh?

It's a very sad ending for any plane. I've grounded her for life, never to fly again....kinda like taking a good dog in for the final visit with the vet.

At any rate, Hung and I have discussed putting the inspection on the forum as a learning tool for all. Corrosion is a killer and when dealt with early enough, can save the life of our beloved planes and maybe a pilot or two along the way.

Stay tuned.
