When I dropped in there, Stephen Insalaco was driving the refueling truck. He wanted to show it to me, and he called the owner and got permission. He seemed very eager to show it off, although I don't think it was for sale yet at that point. Still think there could be a lot of ....Imperial Entanglements, if you know what I mean.... A "friend" just trying to get the bidding started on this plane? With a climb prop no less? Some day I am just going to have to find out how to get these fantastic numbers outta Mr. Ed! | | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 574 Member/500+posts | Member/500+posts Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 574 | Seller has is on barnstormers for $76,000.00 and I quote him "A steal at 76,000"... I do know it is impossible to propel Birdie through the air at 145 mph in level flight at normal cruise altitude using only 8 gph...and she's about as clean (aerodinamiclly) as a 150 gets. Maybe he's talking about flying up where you need Oxygen or something?

He certainly didn't improve the panel much except for the Garmin. For $60k in receipts, I'd like to know where the $$'s went. It probably already had the engine?? The SportHawk will get up to 142 at 11,500 and most likely around 8 gph. The question to ask him is what is the RPM? 2900 RPM? | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 230 Likes: 1 Member/100+posts | Member/100+posts Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 230 Likes: 1 | Hey Wayne, Could you post a full sized image of your avatar? I'd love to use the "150RG" as a desktop image, but I'm not creative enough to make my own. That's one upgrade the eBay plane doesn't have....
