Got a crack in manifold of my DI. Tried to fix it - but still not hold the vacuum. Any cub member got a spare DI or in fact i just need the manifold at back where the fittings screw into....

Kindest regards,

I am thinking DI is the Directional Gyro.

If you can explain what a "DI" is, we might be able to help you. But as an A&P for 52 years and an IA for 32 years, I have NO idea what a "DI" stands for.

I forgot the "states" have different saying - ADF is the correct wording i think. We in Africa just call it a DI. Directional Indicator or Gyro or the thing that looks like aeroplanne floating between a compass...

For those who are not skilled at reading things upside-down, or can't stand on their head, this should make it easier.
