This one won't work for a 150/152, but for the 180/182/Bonanza Drivers in the crowd: Hartzell PHC-C3YF-1RF/F8068 3-Blade propeller and polished A-2295-1P spinner. STC’s are available from various sources to install this prop on your Cessna 180/182/Bonanza and others. 409 tt, first installed 12/07. Most recent annual 03/18. Times may change as the prop is still installed on my 182. Buyer must pickup or make arrangements to crate and ship from my a&p at Clow International (1C5).

$7,500

PM if interested.

How do you like it compared to a 2-blade prop? What are you putting in its place? It looks nice!

It delivered well on takeoff and climb performance with little or no cruise penalty - basically everything the three blade purveyors promise. The weight was more of a frustration than expected - it is significantly heavier than our old two blade and the cg shift required us to carry up to 75 lbs balast to make cg if we fill up the tanks with just two people. I would do it again if I had a later model 182 with the higher max gross, but it’s not my jam with an m model. I would definitely go with a three blade mt if they weren’t so costly.

We are going back to a McCauley 2 blade.

Thanks for the PIREP. I have an older H model. T would probably have the same CSG issue, because even without the weight up front, the cg is pretty far forward with just two in the front seat.

GA is so interesting.......the Bonanza is just the opposite.

The CG moves aft as the fuel burns off so having the extra weight of a 3 blade on the pointy end is quite desirable.

I went from the McCauley 2 blade to the Hartzell 3 blade when I dropped a new engine in place a number of years ago and fell in love all over again. smirk

No loss in speed, more thrust, better climb, smoother and opinions may vary but it's sexier, too.

What's not to like (except for the price of admission)?

Good luck on selling it, Bob.
