I saw a photo of it on a lake George and thought it was the one up state NY Didn't realize you were in Alaska where you don't need a license to fly. Def no 337 needed.

As far as I know, there would be no need to file a 337 as it is a minor modification, only requiring a logbook entry. At least that was the opinion of the A&P/IA that installed it.
