1970 Cessna A150K Aerobat N8449M $29,000 OBO
AFTT: 10,160
Continental O-200 with about 90 hours SMOH with all 4 new ECi Titan Nickel cylinders
B&C lightweight starter
Bendix mags
Auto Fuel STC
Brackett air filter
Spin-on oil filter
Complete logs
Wheel pants (not shown)
Wing and engine covers
Heavy duty Aerobat lap and shoulder harnesses

Avionics
KA 134 intercom
Trimble TNL-2000A GPS (Bench tests OK but probably needs a new antenna)
KX 155 Nav/Com with GS
KY 197A
Narco AT 50 Transponder
Narco ELT 10 (121.5)
EI US-8A 16 channel engine analyzer (CHT/EGT, OAT, Oil temp)

I have owned this plane for 8 years. It has been a great time builder but now my growing family needs something bigger. I would like to trade for a 170A or B. The paint is in good condition. Better than average when compared to similar year airplanes, but not new. It lived on a gravel strip for a while and has a few blemishes to prove it. The interior is in good shape with all the carpet and seats in great shape. The plastic panels have a few cracks in them just like any 40 year old plastic would. It has always been an easy plane to fly and relatively inexpensive to operate and maintain at 6 GPH in cruise. It has the rudder stop AD complied with so it is fully capable of spins and most positive G aerobatics (loops, rolls, Immelman, Cuban 8, Split S).

You seem to have a knack for understating the obvious.

Man....that's one pretty plane and what a stunning background.

Where is that??

Nice - what's the fairing around the tail tie down ring? Doesn't look stock.

Wasilla, Alaska...where have I heard that name before?? Best of luck selling your Aerobat....engine alone is worth almost what you are asking.

It's gotta be Lake George, NE of Anchorage and east of Palmer, at the terminus of the Knik glacier.

It is indeed Lake George. It is one of my favorite short flights at only 20-30 minutes from home base. That particular day, I took a friend up there, then on over the mountain range to Prince William Sound, then south to Whittier, East through Portage pass to Anchorage and back north to home.

The tail tie down ring was replaced with a piece of UHMW like what is used on the bottom of skis and on the top rail of hockey rink boards. It works great.
