Awesome!

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but that body does not look in that bad of shape. It looks to me like your Barfly project is a lot larger than that one would be. Plus, how cool will it be to drive around town in a Model A! cool

Man that would make a killer Hot Rod!

Hehehe, just jabbin' ya!

It's one thing to turn down such a sweet offer of prize but in the end you're doing the right thing. She wants you to have it and that is obviously what would make her happy. To be stubborn and totally refuse it would be disrespectful. So restore it, make it proper and who says you can't have a blower sticking out of the hood laugh

Sweet score you got there James!

I am truly blessed to have had Lorraine as a second mother growing up. She is a wonderful woman!

Although I still feel guilty about accepting the Model A, I agree with all of you. She is of sound mind and knows what she is doing. Any more arguing with her and I would have really pissed her off!!

As a show of respect to Lorraine and her family, I plan to put the Model A back to stock and keep it original. Since her father was working towards that goal, I will continue his work. I may make a few small upgrades to make it more roadworthy, but it will appear stock from the outside.

I found a few more pictures that I took of my A and its parts stash. I hope to take some more when I go back down there Thursday afternoon to catch my Friday morning flight to Atlanta.

Good call.....very good call.

I hope the day comes when you can take Lorraine for a ride (hopefully as your first passenger) and she's overwhelmed and smothered with her dad's DNA that permeates from this A.
