I went to see the plane.

Solid, but needs an interior, surface corosion - not a big deal.

Compression 77, 77, 77, 75

New rubber

Pictures attached

Asking $10K, might consider less.

I would offer less. Maybe $8,000.00. Most of what you need on the interior would have to be replaced anyway with most planes. The only question would be if you could get a decent basic paint job for under $6,000.00. That plus the interior parts and any other misc items and you could be @ $16,000.00.

Still not a bad price for a low time 150L/

Just my $.02.

Don't you just love spending other peoples money...

Recent Corrosion X treatment.

I looked at that plane a couple of years ago! grin The corrosion was fizzing and dripping out the seams and the owner wanted me to come on a test flight with him. Even in my rookie state I knew that one was a bad one. Fortunately my phone rang and it was a client with an emergency which allowed me to gracefully withdraw.

Looks like just about every other 150 I see sitting at airports all across the country.

Interior metal looks good. If you can inspect a few rivets under the floor area-around the landing gear attachments. I spent $5k repairing my plane in this area several yr ago. I like the no wheel pants too. easy to inspect and air tires. I have an Mmodel.

I think it looks pretty good for a $10,000 airplane.

Of course, that's just by looking at the pictures.

The engine has only 228 SMOH, shouldn't that be worth at least $10K.

Exactly. I know the owner from the Quiet Birdmen group. He is out of 3rd class medical and will not to be able to get it back. Quality guy, and now in his 80's and needs some cash for his retirement.

We are attempting to put a group together to buy it. I'd get it myself if I had not just dropped a bunch of cash on my own 0-200.
