Today, I signed a purchase agreement for a C-177B. So, as much as I love my little old green airplane, it's time to find it a new home. It's got 4700 TTAF and 1340 SMOH, very good paint and interior and I put lots of new stuff in it over the last year: JPI-450, Skytek starter, spin-on filter, MacFarlane fuel vent line, Gill battery, new engine baffles, new ignition harness, carpeting, refinished interior side panels, and a top overhaul on two cylinders. Compressions are all in the 70s. I'm asking $20K.

Enjoy the 177B Charlie. AS far as selling Grasshopper, good luck. If a person can get in the air for $20k, who could ask for anything more!

Here are a couple of shots of my new wings. I'm heading down to Florida in the morning to finalize the deal.

Very Cool Charlie!

Love the 177! Missed out on a good one a couple years back and have been kicking myself ever since. The fact that it's new owner's hangar is just around the corner from my tie down doesn't help matters much...

Enjoy! laugh

Charlie,
The pictures look great however I think that you need to bring it to Clinton in July for a close up inspection.

I will bet that you will love the 177. I have never owned one but have a couple of hours in one. Sure is easy to get in to and out of.

Congratulations!

Your airplane looks great...I love a Cardinal! I am also intrigued by all the blue sky. Sure would like to see some on the west coast here in BC ... and it's warm enough to wear shorts, too.

Like! Like! Of all the temptations in the world to lead me astray, a 177 is at the top of that list.
