I need a 3-1/8” True Airspeed Indicator for a C150. Does anybody have one? I can trade a working-when-removed non-True ASI (range marked for a 1976 C150) plus cash, or buy your TASI outright.

Thanks,

Harvey

All out of TAS indicators, sorry Harvey...

TAS indicator? Hmmm....most of us have IAS indicators; mine has knots on the outside with MPH in a window on the inside ring.

I thought to get TAS, you needed a temperature tie-in?

Indicated, Calibrated, Equivalent, True airpseeds....thought you had to go through the first three to get the last one unless you had a air data computer?

My memory is going, correct me if I'm out of school, Harvey!

Try Wentworth and some of the other previously-owned-parts dealers Harvey. A true ASI isn't something most owners have laying around. Now if you need a VAL760 that's dead...I gotta deal for you !!! grin

Harvey,
Didja have something like this in mind? grin Something like the one I have in my possession? wink

Problem is, I don't think it would work with a standard 100HP engine, cuz you can't go quite fast enough to utilize the TAS function.

However, it maaaaay work if you had 150HP! grin

Oooooo look....a matching set:
