Happy Birthday Ed !! My 42nd is next month. I was just reflecting age after reading about Marta Bohn-Meyers death at 48. She died while practicing aerobatics. At least she was doing something she loved.

49 today. YIKES!!!!!!!!!

Ed-
Here's an even MORE scary thought:

You're old enough to have dated Bryan's MOTHER!

Congrarulations! You've just joined the ranks of guys who, when oogling a cute young chippie, says to himself--

"Could that be the one who sent me the anonymous Father's Day card from Cleveland ten years ago?"

Dennis!

49.

Yeckkk..... who woulda ever thought? Certainly not me...

I remember about 15 years or so ago, I was in the store buying some spicy cheese Doritos and hot picante sauce and a brew. I was wearing an old t-shirt, a beard, (verrrry) long hair and old jeans. Not the kinda guy you'd want your daughter to come home with.

Anyway, out of nowhere this little kid - 3 years old? come up to me, arms open, saying at the top his voice "DADDY!! DADDY!! (oh oh...) Walks up to me, and grabs my leg.

Well, As you might imagine, my heart skips beat.

Then Momma comes up (REAL NICE, if you know what I mean), picks up the kid and says softly, "That's not Daddy." They walk off.

She was definitely something that would make ya proud around the guys if ya know what I mean. I'd remember her. Too bad she was a stranger to me.

I looked up, and saw this older woman giving me a look that would melt lead.

Yep.

I'll never forget that one.

Gotta love it, I tell ya...

Ed-

I know what you mean. The Father's Day card is a true story. After 25 years I'm STILL wondering!

And I 've never even visited Cleveland!

My daughter is 11 and will graduate high school when I'm 36, and I'll be 41 when Kevin (last one!) graduates.

I was 36 when my oldest graduated! My Wife was 33!!!
Some people thought Mother and Daughter were sisters!

I had a grandson at 37....you all can do the rest of the math. I was an empty nester at 43 (until they all moved back for a couple of years). Folks still think my daughters and wife are sisters, and they also think I am a leacherous old man for marrying a woman who looks 20 years younger than me when in fact she is 4 years older. Go figure. I just tell them that being married to me keeps her young.

It can't be, Jeff! Four years OLDER? You ARE kidding, right? She really is four years older than you? I don't believe it!

I need to admit that I was one of those that was thinking that you were awfully lucky to have a wife so young!! Knowing the truth doesn't really change things much, however! Kathie still looks like an innocent sweet young thing to Justina and I! You lucky dog you!
