Well, it looks like we may have found something with a bit more needed oomph under the cowl. If all goes as planned, our presently faithful 150 will be needing a new, appreciative home. So, if anybody here knows of somebody wanting a very honest mid-time Cessna 150, please have them eMail me. I will pass on the vital statistics.

Bil's gonna have VERY nice, healthy, good-lookin', and STONG new addition to his family!

I've already seen it in the "maternity ward/adoption room (hangar).

Bill should be VERY proud indeed.

His new child is very well behaved, does as it's told, and quite stong too!

Literall - able to leap tall buildings at a single bound!

Best to all as we ride out Rita (Ridin' out Rita - hmm.... pretty good, if I say so myself! Remember, ya'll heard it here first!)

I head that it's still in Rita's way. Bill got so mad he yelled at the storm and it seems to be working its way further eastward so Bill don't get any madder and so Ed can stay safe.

Yelling at weather actually DOES work!!

I was ticked off when I was stuck in Moontown , AL, with a line of lvl 3- 5 storms from Little Rock AR through the Appalacians...

So after 4 hours I start cussing at the radar screen and within 20 minutes it cleared up... the SMOOTHEST air I had ever flown in.

I just really wanted to get to Clinton!!

Well, I have to take your word on that, Ed! We bought 72G sight unseen also, except for pictures. I didn't get my first look at her until I saw it taxxing in. But, it has been a very loyal, and basically trouble free friend. I just hope her sibling works out half as well.

I would also like to take this time to give very special thanks to Ed here. He took the time and trouble to go and check out our new bird. We appreciate it greatly, Ed! Thanks muchly! Oh! And that N number is yours if you want it, Ed!




From what I hear on the news, it also sounds like it is dissipating. So, maybe at least a little better news for all concerned in the area.

And it is time again to thank some body else here. Gary Shreve has offered to possibly ferry our new bird home to us. We just may have to take Gary up on his generous offer. But, I have to admit, there is a concern with Gary doing this? If my memory serves me correctly, weren't you, Gary, looking for a 150/150 for yourself? Would ours make it past Arlington? Hee! Hee!

It sure was, is, a comfort having the support of this great group. I know of no other place where a stranger could go and ask for help and get the response that I received here. What a very speccial place this has turned out to be!
