Thinking also of the exhaust stc that boosts it another 20 so I've heard. Would sure appreciate any feedback re experience with either stc.

John,

I don't have much info on the engine mods but I am in the initial phase of a float STC for Kevlar amphibious floats. They weigh roughly the same as the EDO 1650's. I will update everyone on that progress as I go.

Thanks Jeff,

You are right on both counts re the upgrade. A Power Flow field approval is in the works right now on nother airplane. They will keep me posted.

By the way I love Isaiah 40:31. One of my favorites. As a matter of fact I will most likely be changing the N# to 146JH. John 14:6 is a real favorite of mine.

Bill, That's great news. Is there a website I can investigate the Kevlars? There seems to be some differences of opinion out there re the Edo 1650's. I'm new to floats so will keep a keen ear out for alternatives.
