If you haven't obtained a quote from AOPA/AIG recently, you might want to do so. I had renter's insurance with Avemco from '95 to '01. When I bought my plane in '01, Avemco wanted over $900 to insure it. AOPA quoted $600 for the same coverage. Clear choice for me.
